DUAL, 800kHz OP AMP COMES IN TINY 8-PIN SOT23-8 PACKAGE
SUNNYVALE, CA—April 24, 2000—Maxim Integrated Products introduces the MAX4402 dual, Rail-to-Rail® op amp in a tiny 8-pin SOT23 package. This device consumes only 320µA of supply current per amplifier, while achieving an 800kHz gain-bandwidth product. Operating from a single +2.5V to +5.5V supply, this op amp is ideal in space-limited portable/battery-powered applications that require low power without sacrificing bandwidth or gain accuracy.
A patented output architecture is capable of driving a 2-kilohm load to within 55mV of both supply rails while maintaining a 110dB open-loop gain. The MAX4402 achieves 0.009% total harmonic distortion and is unity-gain stable with capacitive loads up to 400pF.
The MAX4402 is offered in space-saving 8-pin SOT23 and 8-pin SO packages, and is specified over the automotive temperature range from -40°C to +125°C. Prices start from $0.19 per amplifier (100,000-up, factory direct, FOB USA).
