LOW ON-RESISTANCE ANALOG SWITCHES OPTIMIZED FOR ±5V APPLICATIONS
SUNNYVALE, CA—August 29, 2000— Maxim Integrated Products introduces the MAX4675MAX4679 low on-resistance (RON) CMOS switches. The MAX4675/MAX4676 feature a single-pole/single-throw (SPST) configuration with 4-ohm max RON. The MAX4677/MAX4678/MAX4679 feature four SPST switches and have 2-ohm max RON. These devices operate from dual ±2.7V to ±5.5V supplies or from a single +2.7V to +5.5V supply, making them suitable for use in portable equipment.
These switches are designed for precision signal switching and routing in systems with bipolar ±5V supplies. Applications include xDSL modems, ATE, and data-acquisition systems.
The MAX4675/MAX4676 are available in 6-pin SOT23 packages in the extended (-40°C to +85°C) temperature range. Prices start at $0.65 (2500-up, FOB USA). The MAX4677/MAX4678/MAX4679 are available in 16-pin TSSOP packages in the extended (-40°C to +85°C) temperature range. Prices start at $2.15 (1000-up, FOB USA).
