LOW-POWER 10V OP AMPS PACKED IN A TINY SC70 PACKAGE
SUNNYVALE, CA-December 28, 2000-Maxim Integrated Products introduces the MAX4493/MAX4494/MAX4495, single/dual/quad amplifiers offering low-power, 650µA (typ), single-supply operation, ground-sensing inputs, and rail-to-rail outputs. The MAX4493 fits into the space-saving 5-pin SC70 package, offers 3MHz GBWP, and can drive 1-kilohm loads. The output can also drive 300pF, ensuring system stability and accuracy. The combination of low power, rail-to-rail outputs, and low cost in a 2mm x 2.1mm SC70 package makes these op amps ideal for notebook PC audio paths where small size and low power are critical.
These op amps operate from a single supply up to +10V or dual supplies of ±2.25V to ±5.5V. The AC specificationss also feature a 3V/µs slew rate, an input noise voltage density of 8nV/root-Hz, and a THD of 0.002%. The single MAX4493 comes in ultra-small 5-pin SC70 and SOT23 packages; the dual MAX4494 and the quad MAX4495 come in the space-saving 8-pin SOT23 and the 14-pin TSSOP packages, respectively.
