±2.5% ACCURATE 75-OHM/100-OHM/120-OHM TERMINATION NETWORKS
SUNNYVALE, CA-August 31, 2001-Maxim Integrated Products introduces the MAX3406/MAX3407/MAX3408 switchable termination networks, which are ideal for terminating coaxial cables or twisted-pair wires. Software controlled, these devices eliminate the need to manually change termination values and replace discrete solutions. The MAX3406/MAX3407/MAX3408 terminate signal levels up to ±3.6V, making them ideal for E1/T1/J1 applications.
The MAX3406/MAX3407/MAX3408 operate from a single +5V power supply, and consume only 30µA of supply current. The termination values are guaranteed to ±2.5% accuracy over the extended temperature range (-40°C to +85°C). The MAX3406 switches between 75Ω and 100Ω, the MAX3407 switches between 75Ω and 120Ω, and the MAX3408 switches between 100Ω and 120Ω.
The MAX3406/MAX3407/MAX3408 are available in a 5-pin SOT23, with prices starting at $0.75 (1000-up pricing, FOB USA).
