3µA, 540ns COMPARATORS PACKED IN ULTRA-SMALL SC70-5/SOT23-8 PACKAGES
SUNNYVALE, CA—November 10, 1999—Maxim Integrated Products introduces the MAX9075/MAX9077 ultra-small micropower comparators. These comparators reduce cost and board real estate without impacting your power budget, making them ideal for cost and/or space-sensitive portable applications. They achieve a fast 540ns propagation delay from only 3µA supply current, which is an excellent speed vs. power ratio. In addition, these tiny comparators have Rail-to-Rail outputs, ground sensing inputs, and a single +2.1V to +5.5V operating supply.
The single MAX9075 is offered in the ultra-small 5-pin SC70 (about half the size of the 5-pin SOT23) and 5-pin SOT23 packages; the dual MAX9077 is available in space-saving 8-pin SOT23 and SO packages. Prices start from $0.33 (100,000-up, FOB USA).
