+12V/+15V QUAD SWITCHES REPLACE DG611/DG612/DG613
SUNNYVALE, CA-December 6, 1999-Maxim Integrated Products introduces the MAX4591/MAX4592/MAX4593 high-speed high-voltage low-on-resistance quad SPST switches. Optimized for systems using single +12V or +15V supplies, these devices feature fast switching times of 80ns tON and 40ns tOFF at +25°C. This family is pin-compatible with Vishay/Siliconix's DG611/DG612/DG613, which require an inconvenient -3V supply to achieve the same performance as the single-supply MAX4591/MAX4592/MAX4593.
These devices feature low 20 ohms on-resistance at +12V, and they guarantee 1.75 ohms flatness and 1 ohm max matching between channels. These high-voltage switches also offer 5pC max charge injection and > 2kV ESD protection per Method 3015.7.
The MAX4591 has four normally closed (NC) switches, the MAX4592 has four normally open (NO) switches, and the MAX4593 has two NO and two NC switches. These devices are available in space-saving 16-pin TSSOP, SO, and DIP packages. Prices start from $1.68 (1000-up, FOB USA).
