Matthew J. Murphy

Senior Vice President, Communications and Power Solutions Group

Matt Murphy became Senior Vice President for the Communications and Power Solutions Group in 2011. From 2006 to 2011 he led Maxim's Worldwide Sales and Marketing organization. Prior to managing sales, he held a variety of product-line management roles including Managing Director of the Interface, Switch, and Protection Business Unit, one of the company's largest revenue business units.

In his current role Mr. Murphy is responsible for the definition, development, and marketing of products and solutions addressing the communications end market. Additionally, he has responsibility for power-management products and solutions for the computing, communications, and industrial end markets.

Mr. Murphy holds a BA degree from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and is a graduate of the 2010 Stanford Executive Program.
