MAX5500/MAX5501は、4つの低電力、12ビット、ディジタル-アナログコンバータ(DAC)および4つの高精度出力アンプを内蔵しており、小型20ピンパッケージで提供されます。4つの高精度アンプの各負入力は外部からアクセス可能で、利得設定、リモート検出、および高い出力駆動能力において柔軟性を提供するため、MAX5500/MAX5501は工業用プロセス制御アプリケーションに最適です。他の機能には、ソフトウェアシャットダウン、ハードウェアシャットダウンロックアウト、全レジスタおよびDACをゼロにクリアするアクティブローリセット、ユーザ設定可能なロジック出力、およびシリアルデータ出力があります。
各DACは、入力レジスタにDACレジスタが続く構成のダブルバッファ付き入力を提供します。16ビットのシリアルワードが各入力レジスタにデータをロードします。シリアルインタフェースは、SPI™/QSPI™/MICROWIRE™と互換性があります。シリアルインタフェースによって、入力およびDACレジスタを、1つのソフトウェアコマンドで、個別または同時に更新可能です。3線式インタフェースは、DACレジスタを同時更新します。すべてのロジック入力は、TTL/CMOSロジックコンパチブルです。MAX5500は+5Vの単一電源で、MAX5501は+3Vの単一電源で動作します。MAX5500/MAX5501は、-40℃～+105℃の拡張温度範囲での動作が保証されています。
