Definition

Surface Acoustic Wave (弾性表面波)：弾性体の表面に沿って伝播し、固体内に存在する音波。SAWデバイスは圧縮およびシアー成分を組み合わせることが多い。無線アプリケーションでは、SAWは表面波バンドパスフィルタを指し、良好な帯域外除去比を示すが、通過帯域リップルと挿入損失が大きい。
