6500V/µs, LOW-DISTORTION, DIFFERENTIAL LINE DRIVERS IDEAL FOR HIGH-SPEED CABLE TESTERS
SUNNYVALE, CA-October 8, 1999-Maxim Integrated Products introduces the MAX4447/MAX4448/MAX4449 400MHz, low-distortion, single-ended to differential line drivers. The combined features of wide bandwidth, -78dB SFDR (spurious-free dynamic range at 5MHz), 6500V/µs slew rate, and differential outputs that swing up to ±6.2V into 50 ohms make these line drivers ideal for a variety of wideband communications applications, including high-speed cable testers. These line drivers also offer 0.1dB gain flatness to 200MHz and an output current drive up to 130mA. For speed video and RF signal-processing applications, these devices offer low differential gain/phase of 0.01%/0.02° and low 24nV/root-Hz noise.
The MAX4447 has an internally fixed gain of +2V/V, whereas the MAX4448/MAX4449 can be externally set for gains greater than or equal to +2V/V and +5V/V, respectively. In addition, all devices offer a low-power disable mode that reduces supply current to 5.5mA.
The MAX4447/MAX4448/MAX4449 are offered in 16-pin SO packages. Prices start from $2.20 (1000-up, FOB USA).
