125kHz, MICROPOWER OP AMP FAMILY FEATURES SHUTDOWN MODE IN SC70-6
SUNNYVALE, CA-December 13, 2000-Maxim Integrated Products introduces the MAX4480–MAX4483 low-power, single-supply op amp family. The MAX4481, consuming only 80µA of supply current (max) offers a shutdown feature and fits in the space-saving 6-pin SC70 package. The combination of low power, rail-to-rail output range and low cost in a 2mm x 2.1mm package makes these op amps ideal for wireless handsets and portable devices where small size and low power are critical.
These op amps operate from a single +2.5V to +5.5V supply. The input voltage range allows for ground sensing. The DC specifications provide superior performance across the entire input voltage range, 0V to (VDD -1.3V), with CMRR typically being 96dB while PSRR is typically 100dB.
The single op amp, MAX4480, is offered without the shutdown function in the space-saving 5-pin SC70 and 5-pin SOT23 packages. The MAX4481, MAX4482 and MAX4483 come in space-saving 6-pin SC70, 8-pin SOT23, and 14-pin TSSOP packages, respectively. Prices for the MAX4480 start at $0.38 (1000-up, FOB USA).
