SUNNYVALE, CA-June 1, 2001-Maxim Integrated Products introduces the MAX9201/MAX9202/MAX9203 quad/dual/single, high-speed, low-power comparators. This family of comparators are smaller, lower cost, pin-to-pin compatible upgrades to the popular MAX901/MAX902/MAX903 family. Their fast 7ns propagation delay and low power consumption of only 9mW (an exceptional speed vs. power ratio) make them ideal for any cost- and/or space- sensitive, high-speed signal conditioning/squaring applications. These tiny comparators have precision ground sensing inputs, TTL compatible outputs and operate from a single +5V to +10V supply or dual ±5V supplies.
The quad MAX9201 is offered in the space-saving 16-pin TSSOP and SO packages, while the dual MAX9202 is offered in the tiny 14-pin TSSOP or SO package. The single MAX9203 is offered in the ultra-small 8-pin SOT23 or an SO package. Prices start at $1.00 (1000-up, FOB USA).
