±15V SOT23 SWITCHES REPLACE DG417–419
SUNNYVALE, CA-September 27, 2001-Maxim Integrated Products introduces the MAX4647/MAX4648/MAX4649 analog switches. These devices are housed in tiny SOT23 packages and are functionally equivalent to the industry-standard DG417/DG418/DG419 analog switches. The MAX4647/MAX4648/MAX4649 offer a dramatic 70% reduction in board space over the existing 8-pin SO solution.
The MAX4647/MAX4648 feature a single-pole/single-throw (SPST) configuration. The MAX4647 has a normally closed (NC) switch input and the MAX4648 has a normally open (NO) switch input. On-resistance is 25Ω (max) and flat (2Ω) over the specified signal range.
The MAX4649 features a single-pole/double-throw (SPDT) configuration. On-resistance is 45Ω (max) and flat (5Ω) over the specified signal range.
The switches are intended to operate from dual ±15V supplies or from a single +12V supply. Leakage is a low 1nA at +25°C (MAX4647/MAX4648). The MAX4647/MAX4648 are available in 6-pin SOT23 packages and the MAX4649 is available in an 8-pin SOT23 package. All products are offered in the extended temperature range (-40°C to +85°C).
