全機能内蔵、低コスト、T1/J1ラインインタフェースユニット
DALLAS, TX-April 19, 2002-Dallas Semiconductor introduces the DS2149/DS21349, its first T1/J1 line interface units that integrate long and short hauls and have 3.3V (DS21349) and 5V (DS2149) versions of the device. The parts support five line build-out settings for short-haul trunks and four CSU filters from 0dB to -22.5dB. They also support a 6V output pulse for D4 short-haul applications. A crystal-less jitter attenuator with a 32-bit or 128-bit FIFO can be used in either transmit or receive directions.
Diagnostic features include loopbacks, quasirandom-signal-source (QRSS) generation/detection, in-band loop-up and loop-down code generation/detection, and transmit/receive performance monitors. A serial interface provides access to the control registers.
Both parts can be used for routers, modems, base stations, CSUs, DSUs, monitoring/test equipment, and central office equipment.
The DS2149/DS21349 are available in a 28-pin PLCC package in both industrial (-40° Celsius to +85° Celsius) and commercial (0° Celsius to +70° Celsius) temperature ranges. Prices start at $5.40 (25,000-up, FOB USA).
