SOT23パッケージ、7.6A、12nsの伝搬遅延MOSFETドライバ
SUNNYVALE, CA-May 30, 2002-Maxim Integrated Products introduces the MAX5048 high-current, high-speed MOSFET driver in SOT23 package for use in power MOSFET switching, motor control, and the design of ultra-compact, high-frequency switching power supplies. The device includes two separate N-channel (sink) and P-channel (source) outputs, allowing greater flexibility in controlling both turn-on and turn-off switching speed while driving large external MOSFETs. The MAX5048's separate inverting and noninverting logic inputs are designed to operate at up to 14V, regardless of the V+ supply voltage. The device clamps the output to 0.8V when V+ supply voltage is at GND, or when V+ is allowed to float, this ensures that the MAX5048 turns off even low-threshold MOSFETs.
The MAX5048 operates over a V+ supply voltage range of 4V to 12V and is capable of sinking/sourcing 7.6A/1.3A peak current. The device's low, and nearly constant, 12ns propagation delay over the supply voltage range, and tight delay tolerance between devices allow excellent control when driving parallel MOSFETs. Quiescent supply current and input capacitances are typically 1mA and 2.5pF, respectively, allowing for the design of efficient high-frequency switching power supplies. Choice of either VCC/2 CMOS (MAX5048A) or TTL (MAX5048B) logic input is available.
The MAX5048 is available in the -40°C to +125°C operating temperature range in a 6-pin SOT23 package. Prices start at $0.87 (1000-up, FOB USA).
