5000V/µs, LOW-DISTORTION, DIFFERENTIAL LINE RECEIVERS ARE IDEAL FOR HIGH-SPEED CABLE TESTERS
SUNNYVALE, CA-November 10, 1999-Maxim Integrated Products introduces the MAX4444/MAX4445 550MHz, low-distortion, differential to single-ended line receivers. The combined features of wide bandwidth, -60dB SFDR (5MHz, spurious-free dynamic range), 5000V/µs slew rate, and low noise make these line receivers ideal for a variety of wideband communications applications, including high-speed cable testers. These receivers also offer 0.1dB gain flatness to 80MHz and an output current drive up to 120mA. For high-speed video and RF signal processing applications, the devices offer low differential gain/phase of 0.07%/0.05° and low 25nV per root-Hz noise.
The MAX4445 has an internally fixed gain of +2V/V; the MAX4444 can be externally set for gains greater than or equal to +2V/V. In addition, both devices offer a low-power disable mode that reduces supply current to 3.5mA.
