低ノイズ、高リニアリティ、基地局用SiGe高集積DVGA
SUNNYVALE, CA-November 20, 2002-Maxim Integrated Products (NASDAQ: MXIM) introduces the MAX2027, the industry's highest performing, fully integrated, SiGe, digitally controlled variable-gain amplifier (DVGA). The MAX2027 is specifically designed to meet the demanding requirements of today's GSM/DCS/PCS/EDGE, iDEN, PHS, and 3G wireless infrastructure systems. Integrated on one monolithic IC, the MAX2027 delivers 23dB of gain range with ±0.2dB accuracy over the full temperature range. IP3 is +40dBm over the entire gain range, and noise figure is phenomenally low at 4.5dB. Competing solutions have 10dBm to 15dBm worse IP3 performance and suffer noise performance degradations as well. The overall board space used by the DVGA is half that of a comparable discrete solution.
The MAX2027 has robust reliability and ESD performance that only a silicon-based process (SiGe) can deliver. The MAX2027 outperforms today's very best GaAs solutions and X-amp-based products.
The MAX2027 is ideal for GSM DCS/PCS, cdma2000, WB-CDMA, and CDMA multicarrier and single-carrier base-station applications, where high linearity and low noise are required for good bit error rate performance. The MAX2027 is specified for operation from 50MHz to 400MHz, ideal for driving IF undersampled analog-to-digital converters (ADCs).
The MAX2027 is available in a small 20-pin TSSOP package. Prices start at $4.95 (1000-up, FOB USA).
