超低電力D/Aコンバータ、業界初の1.8V電源から動作
SUNNYVALE, CA-November 19, 2003-Maxim Integrated Products (NASDAQ: MXIM) introduces the MAX5510-MAX5515/MAX5520-
MAX5525/MAX5530-MAX5535. These devices are 8-, 10- and 12-bit, single and dual micropower DACs (digital-to-analog converters) that use only 5µA/DAC (max) supply current. These devices are the industry's first DACs to operate from supply voltages as low as 1.8V to 5.5V. Their ultra-low supply current and 1.8V supply voltage make them ideal for direct battery-powered equipment such as medical devices, sensors, and consumer electronics.
The MAX5510-MAX5515/MAX5520-MAX5525/MAX5530-
MAX5535 contain a precision, internal voltage reference that saves board space by not requiring a separate external reference. The reference output's 8mA source current allows these devices to power surrounding circuitry or be used as a reference for other data converters.
Available in tiny 10-pin µMAX and 12-pin, 4mm x 4mm QFN packages, the MAX5510-MAX5515/MAX5520-MAX5525/MAX5530-
MAX5535 are ideal for space-constrained and low-power systems. These DACs are guaranteed to be monotonic. They have a fast 16MHz low-power SPI-/QSPI-/MICROWIRE-compatible 3-wire serial interface, and a preconfigured force-sense or unity-gain output-buffer configuration.
Prices for the MAX5510-MAX5515 start at $1.47, at $1.97 for the MAX5520-MAX5525, and at $3.97 for the MAX5530-MAX5535 (1000-up, FOB USA).
