超小型、256タップ、ディジタルポテンショメータ、3mm x 3mmのTDFNパッケージ
SUNNYVALE, CA-March 29, 2004-Maxim Integrated Products
(NASDAQ: MXIM) introduces the MAX5417/MAX5418/MAX5419 and MAX5422/MAX5423/MAX5424, the industry's smallest 256-tap, nonvolatile digital potentiometers with on-chip EEPROM in the 3mm x 3mm footprint TDFN package. The on-chip memory enables the devices to operate like mechanical potentiometers by storing the wiper position prior to power down. But, these new ICs offer a significant size reduction compared to mechanical pots. These digital pots are also the industry's first to offer ratiometric and end-to-end temperature coefficients as low as 5ppm/°C and 35ppm/°C, respectively.
These new digital pots save power by requiring less than 1µA in standby and operating from a 2.7V to 5.5V single supply. End-to-end resistances of 50kΩ, 100kΩ, and 200kΩ are available. The MAX5417/MAX5418/MAX5419 use an I2C interface and the MAX5422/MAX5423/MAX5424 use an SPI interface.
Prices start at $1.25 (1000-up, FOB USA). Purchase of I2C components from Maxim Integrated Products, Inc., or one of its sublicensed Associated Companies, conveys a license under the Philips I2C Patent Rights to use these components in an I2C system, provided that the system conforms to the I2C Standard Specification as defined by
Philips.
